Technique used
Wormhole was created using kiln-casting and cold-working techniques. The bottom stair-like shapes were first prototyped in wood and cast in plaster. The piece was then fired in the kiln using assembled vermiculite panels. The sculpture reveals optical illusions when viewed from different angles.
