One of my favorite moments of the glass casting process is when I open the kiln. Firing a piece takes about two weeks and it requires complex programming—optical glass is very demanding.
In glass casting, there is always tension because unpredictable things can happen. You have to be comfortable with the unexpected and embrace it.
Even if it means having to start over sometimes.
