Sometimes optical glass can take you to places you would have never imagined. I was recently invited by Ohara to feature my optical glass art and light experiments at the Laser World of Photonics 2017 in Munich. It was a fun experience.
Photonics, the physical science of light, covers a huge range of science applications and it offers great potential for medical diagnosis, laser manufacturing and optical computing.
Optical glass and photonics are like communicating vessels, they flow into each other.
The congress ended with a record-breaking number of visitors — more than 32,000 participants from 90 countries all over the world.
